Professional Background:
Gerani D. Malijan (Junior Associate) is a member of the firm’s litigation team. He assists the firm in handling various civil, criminal, and labor cases lodged before various judicial and quasi-judicial bodies in the country.
Prior to joining the firm, Gerani worked at an Ortigas-based firm, gaining experience in appellate practice and special projects. He began his career as an Executive Assistant and, eventually, Court Attorney at the Court of Appeals where he assisted the Justices in arriving at decisions and resolution in a broad range of cases.
In law school, Gerani joined several moot and debate competitions where he argued and defended complex, often unpopular, legal positions. He graduated from Arellano University School of Law as a member of its honor society: the Order of the Flaming Arrows. He was admitted to the Philippine bar in 2022.
