Professional Background:
Prior to entering litigation practice, Ms. Ong worked for the government as a Court Attorney at the Supreme Court of the Philippines, where she assisted in the adjudication of cases by drafting decisions, resolutions, and separate opinions. She was also a Bar Coach at Jurists Bar Review Center, where she mentored incoming bar takers.
During her time in law school, she was an editorial board member of The Palladium, the Ateneo Law School’s official publication, as well as the Legal and Judicial Ethics Subject Head of the Ateneo Central Bar Operations’ Academics Committee.
She was likewise a former legal intern of the Office of the Solicitor General, Supreme Court of the Philippines, and the Ateneo Legal Services Center.
Ms. Ong was admitted into the Philippine Bar in May 2022. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo Law School, and graduated with a BFA in Creative Writing and a minor in English Literature from Ateneo de Manila University.
