Dominique (“Nikko”) Pangilinan Pascua is a Junior Partner of the Firm whose legal practice focuses more on corporate law with 13 years of experience specializing in energy industry, particularly the downstream oil industry, mergers and acquisitions and corporate legal due diligence.
In the area of energy industry, Mr. Pascua actively advises and sits as the legal manager and legal counsel for known downstream oil industry companies on a wide range of matters from expansion and diversification initiatives through acquisitions, permitting and accreditation requirements with various government authorities and private institutions, such as but not limited to the Department of Energy, the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Philippine Economic Zone Authority and the Board of Investments.
In the field of Mergers & Acquisitions and corporate legal due diligence, Mr. Pascua has advised and worked together with the due diligence team for a local client on its merger/joint venture with an international petroleum company for the expansion of its downstream petroleum business. Mr. Pascua was also a part of various due diligence teams involving clients in the renewable energy industry wherein he actively advised and participated in the due diligence review and checks in relation to potential project land acquisition transactions as well as corporate legal due diligence reports to banks for project financing transactions.
Mr. Pascua was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2012 and attained his law degree from the Far Eastern University Institute of Law. He finished his Bachelor of Arts in Consular and Diplomatic Affairs from the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
